Builders Association of India was formed in 1941. It has 77
centres spread over length and breadth of the country. The organisation has grown in leaps
and bounds and at present, it has Patron/Lifetime
Membership of 8,000 and Ordinary/Affiliated Membership of 30,000 through various Regional Associations
affiliated to it. There is an addition of Membership by each day passed. BAI, by virtue of its size, is the only True Spokesman for Construction Industry.
Builders Association of India has been bringing out its Members Directory. The
Directory was last published in 1996. It was a
convenient catalogue for Builders and the Manufacturers, Wholesalers and Retailers of
Building materials as well as public at large, Institutions, Enterprisers, Architects,
Consultants, apart from Builders themselves.
The country has entered in 2nd phase of reforms and is poised for rapid
growth in construction sector. The
Infrastructure development is buzzword of Indian economy. In time of fast advancing
technology, know-how is an important factor. Thus, there is utmost necessity of Builders
Directory to get to know about the Construction Houses and latest products in the
Industry.
Considering the
time bound necessity, Builders Association of India (Delhi Centre) is bringing out a New Directory of Builders Association of India, as
it would be an excellent source to communicate with Builders, through a Medium which has
large shelf life. It would also provide an excellent opportunity for Manufacturers,
Dealers, Wholesalers, Retailers for expansion of their business activities.
The Opportunity : "THE CONSTRUCTION
MATERIALS/MACHINERY DIRECTORY" and the "DIRECTORY OF BAI MEMBERS" both shall be
important and useful documents from the view point of Construction Industry and a
reference document for the public. The
publication of the CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS/MACHINERY DIRECTORY and the DIRECTORY OF BAI
MEMBERS provide an excellent opportunity for manufacturers, dealers and retailers to
communicate with the Builders, through a medium which has a long shelf-life. This Directory will also be distributed to CPWD,
MES, Railways, NHAI, Public Sector Undertakings and Technical Institutions. Advertisers
message will be featured in the twin documents i.e. CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS/MACHINERY
DIRECTORY and the DIRECTORY OF BAI MEMBERS with no extra
cost. The publications shall be
available for circulation and sale by May, 2003.
